The database includes plants that are rare or threatened otherwise, which is the foremost task in the implementation of the plant conservation.                          

      Medicinal Plants  :

The database provides information what the flowering plants which have potential medicinal value and are used extensively in different systems of medicinelike Ayurveda , siddha, Unani and Allopath .

      CITES Plants :

The database provides information about the plants included in the Appendices I , II and III of the convention on International Trade in Endangered species of wild fauna and flora , which are periodically reviewed in order to provide exact status according to the actual sanction
